It’s an absolutely beautiful dog and a great social personality. Loves everybody.
But they’re extremely high energy. My spouse walks them 1-1.5 hours a day and that’s barely enough. I like to take them into the bush like this because they basically run all day and love it.

My dog was extremely high energy early in life, but now that she’s 4 she’s finally needing a little less exercise. I walk her a lot, but the key for me to wear her out without wearing myself out was frisbee.

We had a lab and the same thing happened as they aged. This dog is 5 and no signs yet.
Weimaraners are basically greyhounds.
Followup on the trip. I was feeding the wood stove at 2am and one guy woke up screaming. I think he just woke, saw me and panicked. In any event, just about gave me a heart attack.
Next night, same time,.same thing. Wakes up screaming at me lol.

Start of processing pumpkins. I managed to grow 36! Have some fishing with nerds folks over processing them. Then we are going to make pumpkin pie, pumpkin loaf, and some puree.
If we have time we are also going to make an Indian carrot dessert.

The fellow pictured is from Dubai. I asked if he told his parents he was going, basically some stranger on the internet rolls up in a white van with free candy spray painted on the side. His mom was a bit off, but his dad is a uwaterloo alumni as well, so he said I must be fine if I went to uwaterloo. Uh, ok lol.

A sunfish. Junkfish where I’m from, but some of the Asian students take them home. Apparently quite tasty. Not surprising since they’re a panfish.

The woman in the picture works for the school newspaper. She wants to write an article on fishing with nerds. So maybe I’ll be internet famous!

Starting to organise my next fishing trip. Year end trip, gonna rent a pontoon boat or two, there will be 19 of us total.
I’m already scared as to how much fish ill have to clean. Last year it was over 200.
Seems like a good opportunity for you to teach these youngsters how to clean a fish.

Yeah I’d like to. But it’s 430, I’m beat, I’ve got 200 fish and 20 students staring at me, plus another hour to get everyone home. I’m normally too tired to get into it.
