I think the holidays should be shifted by a quarter. Ain’t nobody wanna go outside during the solstices 'cuz it’s blazing hot or freezing cold. Let’s move our shitty life experiences of school and work to the solstices so we can be out and about during the equinoxes when the weather is much nicer.

One nice thing about the holidays being near the solstices is that we don’t have to use quite so much PTO to go someplace more comfortable.
Equinox’s engine is underpowered for the size of the car, so, do not recommend.

A crap ton of people from the mainland drove down here for the long weekend for the summer solstice / Juneteenth. I have never seen the beach parking lot by my house be so full, and it’s a good 20 degrees cooler here than where they came from.
School break
I’ve traveled to two weddings over 4-July. I have a local one coming up, too.
Reminds me: got to get a suit. Old one is old, an unsuited jacket/pant combo.

I take it that CS enjoys seeing those folks whose job requires to be outside to have to suffer while working . . .
