I am almost to the stage where I am numb to Trump’s rants. And maybe that is his strategy: make them so bad/frequent that people, other than his followers, just ignore them? Words can’t describe how pathetic his posts have become. He is a sick man.
This is textbook authoritarian behavior. It’s not by accident that we become numb to the insanity.

That is totally my take on it as well.
The map in the article isn’t the greatest, compared to the actual text provided.
In those 4 states, there is no minimum age, but a court would have to approve of sub-16 marriages. (In California, a court would have to approve a sub-18 marriage).
Kansas is the state labeled 15, but a court would have to approve a marriage involving a 15 year-old. (Parental consent is sufficient at 16.)
Even among the other states, several states require court approval for a minor to marry.
Assuming judges behave wisely / responsibly / with due diligence, I can’t object too much to the notion of minors getting married after a court reviews the situation. I might find such marriages creepy / distasteful, but in a world where there can be differences in opinion (within reason) on some matters….
(But I also wouldn’t actively argue against a change to “the state recognizes only marriages between adults”.)
So if a judge approves, it’s alright for an adult to have sex with a minor. That doesn’t seem like a very high threshold to meet in the US given recent actions in the courts.
Add to the list of every accusation a confession
Apparently in 2019 the Trump DOJ was monitoring one of the main reporters covering Epstein and Maxwell. Her flight booking info showed up in the docs released by DOJ

A bunch of the Trump stuff is unconfirmed calls to the FBI tipline, some of which don’t match with known Trump / Epstein timelines and not reliable. That’s not to minimize the Trump - Epstein relationship, but some of the crazier stuff should be taken with a solid dose of salt.
The emails to and from Epstein are more reliable.
I’m hearing the Robin Leach story was raised multiple times.
And Mandelson has resigned from the Labour party after the last Epstein file dump.
The guy has so much evidence against him now that I doubt he will be able to recover from this.
