Third gen Nissan LEAF is about that length, and has liquid cooled battery (gen1 and gen2 don’t). First gen3 MY was 2025, so you might be able to find a $25K used one, but not coming off end of lease.

The styling is maybe a little polarizing. But isn’t the middle trim around $35k and it’s pretty loaded? AND has a 300-ish mile range. I need to read more but it looks like the new Leaf is a lot of EV for the money.

Getting my 30k service as well as new tires, but they need it into tomorrow so I have a loaner for the night. Santa Fe Hybrid. The outside is hideous, but the inside is fantastic. But I think they’re redesigning the exterior for the ‘27 model year, so, definitely on my short list for next car when I’m eventually on the market again.
You don’t think you’ll be tempted by a fully electric 1 or 2 year old Ioniq 9 by then? It’s a bit bigger but will have similar design elements.
Edit: Actually the Ioniq 9 is about the same size as the Palisade. I don’t believe they have an EV equivalent of the Santa Fe yet.
One car garage so if one of us goes electric it would be Jaspess (she also does more local driving compared to me)
How is the software and the UI on the Volvo? I’ve not looked into them too deeply, I do fully respect the understated styling. Again, preferences, I like the Volvo look. I came somewhat close to buying the 455hp plug-in hybrid wagon. Because wagon.

Kona is a bit small for my taste (mother in law has a basic FWD Kona that I drive sometimes when we’re all going somewhere)
I’d like to see a Subaru Trailseeker up close to see how it feels (the Uncharted is more sedan-ish)
actually, the Highlander EV might be more up my alley if we’re somehow able to have the infrastructure one day for two EVs
