How do I turn these off? I don’t need my e-mail box filling up. I hardly use the one I provided, but when I open it up, there are a few hundred notifications.
I do not want the notifications.

Click on your icon in the upper right. For you, I guess that’s just a “D” in a green circle. A menu opens: click on the little stylized person. Then click on the gear for “preferences”. You should be able to turn off all email notifications in the “email” option on the menu that opens on the left.
I get none.
