Do some people expect you to talk over them?

This year has definitely been a learning experience. I need to develop a lot of classroom management skills. I haven’t hated it though. I’ve told them I want to come back and I have a contract ready to sign.

The other 7th grade science teacher is quitting at the end of next week, (I guess he has kinda hated it). Looks like I need to make sure my lesson plans are sub-friendly so I can help keep those classes going. That’ll be fun - especially if it takes a while before they can find a long-term replacement.

Yes please. That was so annoying when I would show up to a substitute gig and there was no plan.

Depending on the grade level those are the easiest days.

Just don’t give the sub work to do during your planning period. They’re not getting paid for that.

Throughout all of history, people have been exploiting the sun for no pay.
