Really wanted to get one more thing done but all day it was trying to keep up with messages while in meetings, while also trying to update models. I’m too old for this shit. Threw in the towel, found a brewery.

We are presenting board slides in an hour, it’s been a miserable couple of weeks. I’m done at 4PM today and took the day off tomorrow, so the NGAF will commence in two hours. Probably going to find a happy hour to celebrate, followed by a celebratory nap.

Typical friday for me, I can’t get stuff out of my inbox fast enough to decrease the amount of work I still have to do today. It’s after 6, gonna eat shortly, then I’ve still got an hour or two. And hopefully nothing else comes in.
Or, maybe hopefully more stuff does come in, because, money.

GAF-o-meter gonna have less maximum capacity for some of us for a while. (I guess someone at one of our other locations has been coming in late and/or leaving early but putting in full 7.5 hour days on their timesheet, and someone there called it out to admin, so now we all are going to have our times – and ourselves via cameras – monitored closely for a while to monitor our work timing. 
I would like to know who the bitch was, and who the snitch was.)

Folks, it’s official, I’m no longer operating at 10/10 capacity for the first time in weeks. Still have a lot to do but I’m finding pockets of time to clear out some of the backlog. I think Happy Hour will commence in one hour.

I created my first Excel macro in several years today, and it worked well. It was nothing much just moving around inputs, calculating, and copying outputs. But satisfying to see it run.
Only did about 9 hrs of work this week, nearly 3 of it today.
