Pushed one of my adjunct students to get some last missing work in to get across the pass threshold since the student was very close to the line. One less F to G.

We’ll see if they let me let two others do an Incomplete to have more time to turn in missing work. They could also get to 60% or more if the missing work were in. I do NOT want them to lose this deal! (wait wut?)

Nice that they make an effort to stay in touch. Though I dunno what we are going to talk about, half the people we used to gossip about are dead.

I had a day of no meetings, then got brought onto an urgent project and had several meetings added to my calendar, including one starting at 4:30! My day is turning out very different than I’d expected.

Fridays are highly variable, but today is slow. Pouring rain so I can’t prep the boat. I’m going to head into town to the halal grocery store and get snacks for our fishing/camping trip in a week.
Fun fact, marshmallows are not halal as they have pig gelatin in them.
Second fun fact, halal marshmallows are made with fish gelatine.
Non-fun fact, I’m not going to think to hard about what either pig or fish gelatin actually is. Just eat it.

Isn’t all gelatin made from the stuff inside of bones? I assume we’re just talking about which vertebrate they’re taking it from.
