Has this type of puzzle been featured before and they might have just copied instructions from a previous one with more possible words from one scramble?
Itās possible. We did have this type of puzzle before. On 4/13 (posted 7/1).
I got wieldy for one.
I solve these by seeing which ones I can unscramble first, then placing them in the puzzle later. Unscrambled regret, fleece, and system (plus had wieldy). The g meant I knew where regret went, and that gave me where the others went and let me know wieldy was wrong. The other words were trivial with all those letters in the grid

8/15/2021 - TO STAY OR NOT TO STAY . . .
If 120 more people showed up to Shakespeare in the Park than are here now, there would be 9 times as many people here than if 120 people left. How many people are currently at the event?
Both of these are pretty quick. I did have to guess on the 3rd letter for 8/14. I guessed right (had all the other words already) and I think itās a dumb word. I looked up the definition even to confirm it was actually a word.

Am I the only one who thinks āOatenā is a dumb word? I guessed right because even though āirateā would work, āiatenā didnāt seem like a word, and I couldnāt get any other letter to work with ā_rateā
Oaten? Really? REAAAAAALLLLY?
Glad Iām not the only one!
I mean, the 1st, 2nd, and 4th were not too hard. I got them quickly, and it more more less meant that the 3rd had to be a vowel. which limited options. But iaten seems to make as much sense as oaten, as in āThe dining room was too crowded so iaten the kitchen.ā

In this maze, start on the black circle in the top-left corner and end on the white square in the lower-right corner as you follow these rules:
- Move from cell to adjacent cell up, down, or sideways but never diagonally.
- The cell you move to must contain the same shape (square or circle), the same shading (black or white), or both the same shape and the same shading as the one youāre currently on. For example, if youāre on a white circle, you can move to an adjacent cell containing a white circle, a black circle, or a white square.
Can you find the the path?
