The 6x6 grid was tiled using only the two trominos shown, with reflections and rotations of these tiles permitted. The locations of the tiles’ dots are indicated in the grid. Can you add the thickened lines to show the tiling?

Here’s the same grid, but with X’s instead of dots.

Correct!

Numbers, math, logic, and spatial reasoning I got.

Crosswords, add-a-letter, or lexicon - not so much. THose are for VJVJ

Cross out spatial reasoning from your list and I’m in the same place

Eliza priced 42 more items preparing for the rummage sale than Henry did. Had Henry priced 12 more items, he would have priced 3/5 of the number of items that Eliza priced. How many items did Henry price?

OOOHHHH. THere are 2 answers for the 3/28 math question.

Why there are two:

Does Henry’s extra 12 diminish the number that Eliza prices? Yes or no?

Answers

X+12 = 3/5*(X+42) means X = 33
or
X+12 = 3/5*(X+30) means X = 15

Interesting!

Summary

Official answer is no, the 12 additional hypothetical items do not diminish what Eliza priced, but then where are these magical items coming from??

3/27

Summary

brake
motor
pedal
trunk
wiper

Even deeper into 3/28…

Could the additional 12 only partially diminish Eliza’s total? Given a total number of possible items greater than the net total priced between the two, there’s an expected value to be calculated here. This I leave as an exercise for the reader.

Lol. I’m told I have a horrible vocabulary. But I do like crossword puzzles.
