Can anyone comment on the value of the study materials for Exam 2 (Data Concepts and Visualization)? What value is added by the $1,170 and $1,350 packages over the basic $850 package?
Are the three pdfs that are free to download sufficient for “Predictive Modeling – Methods & Techniques?”
Are there any necessary course materials for the Case Study Project beyond having access to R?
The value-add for Package 1/Package 2 depends a lot on how you like to study.
I took this Exam w/o the additional study material and passed. Although when I took this exam, I don’t think the additional study materials was available.
Note that my background includes considerable graduate school for pure math, so I may not be a good example of “not needing” the added materials.
Not sure what is encompassed by “the text book” unless it’s just a hard copy of all of the online materials.
If you haven’t sat for any CAS exams, you might find Package 1 useful.
If you value having “flash cards” to help with studying, Package 2 is my guess contains those sorts of resource (this is my guess of what the SMART study aids entails).
If $320 won’t break your bank, I would suggest doing at least Package 1 as it appears to also provide some additional guidance on what you should focus on for the exam and make use of your study time more tractable.
I don’t think so; but note that you’ll be evaluated based on material covered by the exams.
You also need to pass all of the exams before you can work on the Case Study Project.
