Republicans passed many laws around the country to “protect” democracy and make elections “safe and fair”.
In Texas, their common sense reforms seem to have the common sense consequences they were hoping for.

I dunno. Absentee voting isn’t usually super-popular among democrats. It was just the pandemic that convinced us to stay home. I wonder if this will backfire, or at least fizzle out.
Sure, that part could backfire, although that is just a piece of the law.
Republicans said to ignore the consequences, they are overblown. We will see as these states deal with these new laws.
Talk about stealing elections. The GOP does it in the planning phase. Months and Years ahead of the actual election.
