Saw purple first, so it didn’t initially occur to me that it would be purple. And I was so sure that blue was yellow.

Modal verbs aren’t exactly the same as helping verbs. Helping verbs (or auxiliary verbs) often convey the tense, whereas modal verbs convey possibility, permission, obligation, etc.

B seemed like the easiest, even if you’re not familiar with the term “modal verbs”, so it came last. Otherwise I had the reverse.

Y was the only one I was sure about. Figured that B was MLS teams, guessed on all of them except the Red Bulls. No idea about P. Figured that G had something to do with skate/snowboarding, but halfpipe was the only term I knew for sure.
