All me. Consulted spouse after yellows, included proposing blue with rationale, commenting that I didn’t like it much. She didn’t like blue either, but had nothing else so I tried it. Neither of us saw purple connection before reveal

ETA: Actually, even before guessing blues I saw and liked Burger King and Lion King and thought Prom King possible, but saw no conceivable fourth, including California. Didn’t even mention that to spouse since seemed too unlikely

First response was to see both ‘switch’ and ‘sub’ and be shocked that the NYT was going there. But ‘dom’ wasn’t one of the words, so turns out that they weren’t.

Order seen because I found this one tough. And blue is just dumb.
