didn’t see purple before reveal.

The lack of seeing purple made me worry about Hoda Kotb/Savanna(h) Guthrie as possible morning hosts becuase some of those could be names I don’t know. Lack of h made me think more likely to be geography term, so I guessed.

Got the purple quickly, but also no way of telling what the order of the reverse would be. Isn’t yellow supposed to have the "forthright words?

was thinking of green to be a sure thing (noun), as opposed to the verb, and couldn’t see what else fit. Finally saw p conn (socsec?, pillow?)to shift g’s meaning.

Got all 4 colours on the first guess. Picnic, snap, cinch and breeze. That’s when I realized today’s puzzle was none of the above. Then I tried putting ice in the purple category since I’ve never been in the habit of throwing blankets. Then I finally got the purple, at this point tried for the reverse but got yellow green and blue.

On my own. Except :duh: needed spouse for yellow connection before reveal. Also, while I knew what purple connection had to be, didn’t recognize “throw blanket”. Spouse did. I was familiar with “throw rug”.
