I was thinking Beijing was your blockchain word (lots of Bitcoin farms in China) so then you’d need a monetary word, hence cast
It was part of it. My main blockchain words were Center, Mine, Code. I was hoping you guys would hit an optional one between Beijing and Game.
But that went south real fast.
I was more on the same page with you, but somehow my online presence didn’t seem to overlap with my teammates.
I can’t say for sure now how hard I would have pushed for it but:

Just by looking at the lists, if I had to choose (we didn’t), I would have picked Blue’s because Red’s was painful and felt more random. I thought we were going to get dusted right away. I was expecting Blue’s first clue to be Olympics for like 3 or 4, pick up Beijing, Gold, Game and maybe even Center. It would have been hard to catch up. JSM did a great job though and I thought we were done for several times. We made a game of it for sure!
I was going to do metal for 2 and pick up Pin and Bugle but Red guessed Pin taking it off the list.
I almost went with Lake for 3 to get Ice, Loch Ness and Bug. Decided at the last minute to go for Water. Then I was bummed when I didn’t lump Paste in there too. Darn it!
Then it was hard. I was left with Bug, Paste, Bugle and Lawyer.
I considered Charge for Lawyer and Bugle but State was the assassin and was worried that electrical charge may have been associated with State.
Team Red picked up Bugle and Bug with Instrument and the previous Water clue.
Left me with Lawyer and Paste. Good job on associating smear with Lawyer! Whew. That was fun and crazy!
