CMS has announced their list. Curious if anyone has insight on what might happen to the prices for these drugs with other payers. Will private payers be able to negotiate lower prices, or will the manufacturers increase prices to stem the bleeding???

The prices will be published in March IIRC, if I were a private insurer I would use that as a starting point for my negotiations.
I mean, it’s an incremental improvement certainly. But the whole system needs an overhaul.
Government needs to regulate Rx prices like they regulate insurance premiums where the seller is absolutely allowed to turn a profit but they must justify their price.
Not just for Medicare… for everyone.
I say that as a small-l libertarian.
Rx drugs are not a free market.
No arguments from me on this one.
