They currently have a couple diamond rings available for 135k. Less than the piano, but 1) the piano could be in CAD as it is not listed online and 2) also, the internet claims previous rings have gone over 300k.
Maybe it’s a 3-pack?
Are there Costcos in Canadia? If so, do they sell milk in bags? Is there a whole aisle allocated to hockey equipment? You can buy New Glarus* in Wisconsin Costcos (and I have) so local products are for realz at Costco.
*New Glarus is a beer bottler in Wisconsin, known for drawing us susceptible Illinois bastages up across the cheddar curtain (aka the WIsc- Illinois state line) in order to purchase their damn Spotted Cow lager, which is only for sale in the land of milk and cheese.
yes we have them. yes they sell milk in bags. they sometimes sell hockey equipment but not on the regular.
last I checked no alcohol sales but that’s likely to be changing. I recall getting like a gallon of vodka at Costco in the US for $20 but that likely won’t happen here. there’s a big price difference on alcohol here, mostly due to taxes.
At one point they also had Sam’s club but theyve disappeared.
lpt: your Costco membership card works in both countries.
Does the membership card scan at the entrance across the border? I ran into that issue outside of NA - they let me in, but called me an international member…lol.
Saw hockey sticks and tape last weekend when I went buy my local one. They’re also selling gold a d silver in Canada…
Wait, Canadiens can get into the US by merely showing their Costco cards?
No wonder we get so many Canadiens. I call for Costco to revoke the membership cards of Justin Beiber, Hayden Christensen, and The Weaknd. (Pam Anderson can stay)
I dunno, but I feel like it should. I haven’t been at a US costco since before they started scanning at the door. However when I did go, years ago, there was certainly no problem scanning at the checkout using my Canadian card at a US Costco. I think I bought a big screen TV or something.
In my hockey playing days, I’d buy rolls of sock tape at Costco when up in Vancouver.
