Attack on Nancy Pelosi's husband

Yeah, certainly some people would call that MAGAing.

I dont think it is as liberal isnt a slogan

Because he is a lunatic that likely wears a maga hat

If we’re being honest here, the army of angry blue-haired cat ladies in Democrat cities would have been stuck in an endless loop of primal screams if we had even gone back to enforcing Roe v Wade.

Okay fine, how about “maga psycho”? Is that okay? I’m using their own term rather than change it.

Show us on the doll where the red hat touched you

Didnt Trump already brag about the answer to this?

To put it differently.
This is a terrorist-- someone committing violence towards a political end
And/or a hate-crime*-- someone committing violence against a hated group

In both cases we usually want to use language to describe the type of terrorist or type of hate. Since these cases aren’t about 1 crazy guy, but about a shared hateful sentiment.

(*though not legally a hate crime since political affiliation is not a protected class)

@twig93 IS MY REVISED TERM OKAY WITH YOU? I MUST KNOW!

Eh, I don’t particularly like “psycho” although I’ve probably used it on occasion. It’s kind of derogatory.

And it would certainly be bad if there wasn’t evidence of mental illness, but it seems like this guy probably was truly mentally ill. (Not in the “all members of this particular group I don’t like must be mentally ill” kind of way, but like actual medical diagnosis.)

I would use the term scumbag more than mentally ill to describe a person who wears a maga hat. This guy is both a scumbag and a psycho due to the whole trying to kill someome thing.

Thats why im using both words. Psycho is to describe this guy, not all magas

It’s probably fair to presume that virtually every militant nudist in Berkeley who wears a MAGA hat has a few screws loose.

‘MAGA terrorist’ is an apt description I guess.

huh, that’s pretty good. i might replace MAGA psycho with MAGA terrorist.

does everyone approve including @twig93?

although, he’s definitely a psycho too.

If they are actually involved in terrorist (or at least terrorist-adjacent) activity, such as the guy who attacked Paul Pelosi or anyone who broke into the Capitol on 1/6/21 and/or was involved in the planning, then sure. That seems like a reasonable term for those folks.

we are talking specifically about this guy. so yeah, he is.

Misogynists? The thing they have in common is that they are powerful women.

Maybe. Most of the most-reviled on the right are also women.
