Are actuaries Palestine sympathizers?

The real solution is for Israel to take a breath while remaining on high alert AND for other Arab countries to denounce Hamas and demand for the release of hostages. Otherwise, it should be Arab countries to go into Gaza and eliminate Hamas.

Any action by Israel will be viewed unfavorably by Arab countries.

How, pray tell?

The US doesn’t have magic powers to make Israeli settlers do anything.

Yes, and they have been unwilling since the creation of Israel. The Palestinians have been treated as pawns to put pressure on Israel, rather than as humans who need homes.

!? Why the US? I say send in the British and French.

The US sends a lot of money to Israel.

And a lot of people send money to politicians’ reelection funds.

You figure out what is more important to politicians.

One can certainly argue that it’s on the British, who arguably created this problem, to solve it. But realistically the US needs to be involved to put pressure on Israel.

That said, if there was an obvious solution that was truly agreeable to all sides, it would have been worked out by now.

This is why I suggested sending in the British and French

Its not the settlers that are relevant. Most of them tend to be very right-wing and don’t want to compromise. I see them the same way as I do the MAGA folks in the US.

The way to control the behavior of the right-wing settlers is to offer Israel and its Govt something that is important to them.

That means better long-term funding and more sophisticated weapons.

That is something that the current Israeli Govt will take seriously.
