I was looking at a potato salad recipe that says serves 4. It has 4.5 lbs of potatoes, 2 cups mayo, and 9 hard boiled eggs, among many other ingredients. Come on man.

Prepping some of sl’s world famous triple cooked french fries in anticipation of a fish fry next weekend. Oil is taking a long time to heat to 325. And, it seems to be smoking just a tiny bit. Weird, but the infrared thermometer is digital so…
I suspiciously just touched the fries to the oil and it went nuts. Smoked, stank, boiled.
Check the thermometer, its set to celsius. Like over 600 degree fahrenheit.
Waste of an evening and a couple of gallons of oil.i guess im prepping fries again tomorrow.

I ate too many doughnuts. The first 2 were delicious, but then I figured I was committed, so the other 4 were just… I mean, they tasted good, and I spread them out over an hour, but I feel like I probably should also have had some protein today. And I’m still burping up frosting hours later. Should have only bought 2, but they all looked so good. Damn fine marketing.

I should not be in the middle of December, 3 months after being told “we need rate filing exhibits from you so we can get things submitted in time to make our effective date” and still be getting asked about rate filings and needing information about those filings.
I really shouldn’t be getting asked about it because someone decided not to follow instructions.

There’s something about them that’s just severely irritating. Makes me want to consider switching just so I can change mind and not switch, and cite those stupid commercials as the reason.

My husband has an appointment today that conflicts with school pickup for both kids (they are an hour apart). Took the afternoon off and got to the middle school pickup 30 minutes early, as that’s what is necessary to get a parking spot, only for him to tell me that he has drama club tryouts today and won’t be ready for another 45 minutes.
Fortunately (?), younger son stayed home sick today with a fever, so it doesn’t interfere with his pickup today. So I just hit the DQ drive through and will not be sharing.

That’s actually exactly what WILL happen. I had to buy a misty float in addition to the small caramel sundae to hit the CC charge minimum, and I can’t finish either one on its own, let alone together. Mwahaha.
