If it was who’s suspected, it was malicious. All quiet thus far, though.
Friendly was when my Calculus class was discussing toilet papering people’s houses and one of the guys in the class was bragging that he’d never been TP’d and no one would ever be able to pull that off. So obviously that weekend my friends and I TP’d his house.
Toilet paper. Easily removed and designed to disintegrate if you miss a piece. On the outside of his house. I think we also wrote a note in chalk on his driveway taking credit for the TPing. (We certainly did something to take credit after his bragging that it couldn’t be done. Might’ve been shoe polish on his car windows… I don’t precisely recall.)
However this:
does not sound even slightly friendly.
Oh, I agree. But like I said, kids are idiots. It’s not a harmless prank by any stretch, but my hope was that their kid wasn’t also being targeted by jerks, maybe just idiots. But it sounds like jerks.
“Comprised” and “of” don’t go together. If you’re using “of,” then it’s “composed” you want.
The post above is composed of great wisdom and comprises a great truth.
Huh, today I learned
Running super low on ink the printer just when I need to print stuff.
oh, thanks for reminding me
Interesting. Does your car run super low on gas just when you need to drive?
My gf uses the house printer far more than I do.
If I leave a pen uncapped at the end of the day at work, the overnight cleaning crew will throw out the cap.
So you work at home and have a cat?
Somewhere along the line you must’ve accepted “strenght” as an acceptable word.
If you were going to the store to get cumin you could picked up some (fresh!) garlic. I try to use as much fresh stuff as I can; garlic and parsley are two items I always have handy. My wife likes the jarred/dry stuff (respectively), but we can afford two bucks a week for the fresh stuff.
We have a JIT inventory for most meals. As such, we are at the food stores multiple times a week. We do keep a pantry of dried, canned, boxed stuff. But we usually get our proteins and veggies a day or two before we make stuff.
If we did most of our shopping in one day it would take a long time. each week we visit (not every place every week)
Grocery stores (there are 4 different ones we go to, incl Trader Joes)
Farm stand store
Bakery
Asian market
Italian market
Polish market
Fish monger
Cheese monger
Butcher
Delicatessens
Bagel store
That seems like a lot of travel.
Where is the good pickle store?
I had a bird that liked pen caps, but wouldn’t wait for them to be off the pen.
farmers market
I miss living in Denver, there was a pickle store a few miles from my house. Nowadays we often settle for Claussen (sp?) unless I go to Hy Vee to get the Wahlburgers pickles - a really solid option, imo.
