Particularly true given that the most recent status I provided was “I won’t know if the fix for X worked until Tuesday at the earliest, maybe Wednesday” and it’s Monday.

I’m not sure, but I think so. It looks like to blocking (will block electronic or automatic telephone access to your SS record) or unblocking electronic access has to be done via phone, which makes me a little uncertain about how smooth the process goes. I just initiated setting up my SSA account this morning, but I have to wait for a code that’ll be sent via snail mail to complete it. Maybe I’ll wait to complete my SSA account first and make sure that all looks okay first.

Hmmmm… I wonder if I did that inadvertently. I haven’t been able to access my Social Security online account for years. Ya, I know I need to take care of that, but it hasn’t been a priority.
