I was going to ask if this was the case or if the kill switch had come out. This seems to happen to me quite often. I couldn’t get it started on our fishing trip a few weeks ago and eventually saw the kill switch was gone and looked down and the cord was still attached to my belt and had been when I was fishing the last hour

All right. They say the plenum, the first few feet of duct work on top of the air handler, is junk. It’s causing turbulence, which is the problem, so they are building a new one. They say this should fix it, we’ll see. This is all on their dime, so they have some incentive to get it done right.

A recruiter has a candidate they want to get on my radar. We don’t have any open roles but that’s ok. Two emails, a voicemail, and a LinkedIn message - all in about five hours. Sheesh.

I made a big pot of red beans a couple nights ago. I was going to use andouille in it, but the store had a sale on Eckrich smoked sausage, so I just used that. I must never have eaten Eckrich sausage before. No casing, weird mushy texture, and not much in the way of flavor. I’m considering fishing it all out, as there’s a lot of beans left to be annoyed through. Actually, now that I think of it, I’ll just buy a better sausage on the way home and fry it up to replace that horrible stuff.

I picked up a slice of pizza that was sitting on our outside bar. Suddenly my thumb was throbbing. I got bit or stung by a brown six-legged bug, and the pain was intense. I’ve never been stung by a wasp, but I’ve been stung by a bee, and it was a lot worse and burned a lot more than that.
Google says it’s a wheel bug and I’m in for a fun couple of days.

On what was one of my favorite discord servers, a newish person is posting graphic details about her sex life in the relationships channel instead of the NSFW channel that exists for that purpose. I’m not going to judge people for being poly or into kink, but she has gone soooo far into TMI territory.
