Thought we had revenue wrapped up. Now I’m being told that there might be a change, but the owner of this assumption hasn’t confirmed it yet. It’s $150k on a $950M book of business. The presentation is Monday, this is what we’re worried about at 4:00 on a Friday??? FFS.
Could you pass this on to your newly promoted super duper analyst as a “learning opportunity”?? Let’s see how they handle Sheet.

I could, but this is BS work. We have a horrible habit of trying to cram things in the day before we have to present. It’s led to several errors.
Went to a hockey game last night. They lost, but it was a pretty entertaining game, a big brawl broke out in the third period. Anyway, there was also an MLS game going on in the area, and the Arnold classic, so traffic suuuucked. We sat in the parking garage for 90 minutes, not moving an inch for an hour of it.
Oh, and daylight savings can bite me.
The last hockey game I went to, they played a baseball game on the big screen. Because the leafs suck I guess.

Had a bath fan making sounds like it needed an exorcist. Put in a new one today, damn thing fought me for almost three hours.
On the removal or installation? I have an ascending scale of violence tools when I think something is resisting. Dremel, vibrating tool, reciprocating saw, electric jackhammer. Don’t have the acetylene torch, but that might complete the set.
Start to finish. The removal was a little bit difficult, not terrible. Getting the new one in was hard. The electrician who installed it must have charged by the inch for wire, very little slack. And then it took me a while to get the duct lined up and attached. And then if I clipped the motor/fan assembly fully in place the fan rubbed, so I dropped it a half inch and secured it there. Hey, it works.

I play a bunch of games daily and the reset at midnight. With the clock change yesterday, they have not reset yet.
Sitting at rotten Ronnie’s having a coffee. old guy at the next table over sneezes excessively loudly into his hands, twice. Then proceed to rub his hands like he’s washing them.
Nice, a-hole. Now go touch some doors on the way out.
At least I keep hand sanitizer in my vehicle and use it ever time I get in the vehicle after being somewhere in public.
Yeah, this was one effect of the pandemic.
on a work trip. missed the block at the main hotel, took the closest one the company approved of. it is a nice place - for a vacationer. for someone working, it sucks. it’s a vacation villa kind of place. i walk a lot just to get to the lobby. uber can’t get you to the villa - main door only. last night i returned and figured I’d grab dinner (post cocktail event) at the one restaurant on site. nope, closes at 8 (it was 810). so i ubered somewhere and had fast food and ubered back. not how i wanted the day to end

Work trips are for work ers.
Got a blister on my thumb from running a tiller for four hours, I keep hitting it on things. Ugh.
Two more letters came from collections in the last week for unpaid bills. WTF. The listed the account number this time, so I figured I could call up the hospital billing number to see if I can figure out what is going on. Two bills, for the same kid, and they don’t show up online because they are from the behavioral system. “Can you check if the address is correct?” Yup, should be fine, but the agent noted they were both returned to sender…so USPS fail.
I suppose I feel better that I am not completely losing my mind, but still annoyed that nothing broken was identified. I’m $800 poorer now, but at least things are hopefully all caught up.
I want a coffee but my coffee maker is busted.
I’m in the lineup at Wally Mart when I look over on the shelf and see a block of cheese just sitting there. It was still fairly cold when I picked it up; I handed to the cashier for restocking. 
Took my multivitamin this morning. About 15 minutes later I feel like Im going to throw up. I retch a couple of times, get up about half a cup of liquid with what looks like just the outer coating of the pill dissolved. Clearly not the whole thing, clearly not all the water that was in my stomach that I’d drank this morning.
And then I felt fine again. Weird.
