Big dead rat.
The crawl space has been trashed by rodents. Time to call a company to clean everything out.
My neighborhood avoids the problem by not having sidewalks.
I’d like to avoid the problem by not having neighbors.
who got the job?
Instead of complaining about the Superbowl half time show, people should be rioting in the streets about this:
I went out to get 3 more Tyvek suits (we had one), in case we made it a family affair, but my spouse took one for the team to scout things out and retrieved the dead rodent.

That’s some bullcrap. Most of our neighbors are pretty good to shovel the sidewalks. Now that I have the snowblower I’m all about clearing sidewalks, I did the whole block after the last snowstorm.
It has been warm for days and the last two snow hurdles remain. Maybe by Sunday they will be gone.
One of those has a 4WD truck parked out front with a snow plow and salt dispenser - they are getting paid to plow streets and should not be this oblivious to the giant stack they have across their sidewalk.
flight attendant had way too much scent on and my Uber driver has body odor.
So, on average, they were ok.
I put a bowl with some dough to proof on top of the freezer. It was a mite chilly to the touch, so never doing that again!!! I had to give it some warm oven time to revive it.
Anything you wanted to share in the Insignficant Signal thread??? For either one??? ![]()
not even close.
I’m bad with clothes. I’ll just keep using what’s in my closet until I’m pretty much at the hobo stage of clothing wear. Just lazy on this stuff. But a couple weeks ago I said that’s enough, I want a whole new wardrobe.
Went out and bought 7-8 pairs of pants and a shirt. Success.
Except when I got home and did the fashion show for my spouse, only one pair fit. I’ve lost a bunch of weight so the dimensions I’ve bought for years don’t work anymore. Take them all back and get different sizes I guess. What a waste of time.
Did Missus
approve of the style of pants at least???
Yep, they liked them all.
They’ve got my correct dimensions now so they’re going to go back, do the returns and get replacements.
Cut my workout short because someone in the corporate gym was chronically belching.
Got subway for lunch. Total was $6.58. Card reader said $7.57. They added a 99 cent tip without asking and without giving an easy out. Won’t be going back there.
I usually leave a dollar tip, but I’d like to not be tricked into it…
That’s the thing. I am normally a pretty good tipper, especially at places I frequent. Give me good service and you’re getting 20%+, but if you make me pay 15%, nope.
We ate at a Noodle Bowl place last week that had a 15% gratuity added on. It was noted on their menu and the server also mentioned it. I was fine because I usually give 20% anyway so saved me a little on tip. The food and service were both good even if I thought they skimped on the pork belly in the ramen dish I got.
