I have a self-imposed sales quota every week. Every week by wednesday I’m fretting that I’m not on target. Every week by friday, i hit it. Friday at noon today, I’m only halfway. By tonite at 8, i’ll have doubled it.

Sore throat is gone, no congestion so far, but a cold sore started forming last night and I ONLY get those when I’m sick. Fortunately I’m on a preventive dose of Valtrex so they don’t usually get too big.
Ordered a new Iphone 17 as a Christmas present on the backend of some extended black friday sales for the wife and the delivery guy (parcelforce) did not get anybodies signature (they are supposed to for higher value items) and dumped the small package nowhere near my door (wtf).
Next time I am having them deliver this to a locker. Could have easily been stolen (which seems to be increasingly happening these days in the UK)

If the police cared, anywhere there was a pattern they could easily get the guy. Just put an Apple tag hidden in some kind of electronics, then leave that as bait and follow them once they take it.
Last week, hotel room assigned was 1st one off the lobby. Other side of the wall was the breakfast room and 1st morning the set up crew was loud at 530am.

We use Zoom as our intra-office messaging system (and video and phone calls).
The message badge does not go away when I read the message in the desktop app on the Mac. 
I thought my 1 year old phone was wearing out the usb port as my car adapter kept falling out. Turns out it was just filled up with sawdust from my latest adventures with power tools.
Happened to me a few years back, was just lint. Took me way too long to actually look at it to see it wasn’t worn, just full of stuff. Happened again more recently with sawdust and I immediately knew to clean it.
you use what to clean it? I’ve pulled lint out w a safety pin. is that the right tool?
I don’t know that there is any voltage across the pins - meaning I don’t THINK you can short out a phone by putting something metal down there. I would also maybe worry a safety pin could bend a prong, but if you’re gentle, probably ok.
But I use a thin plastic toothpick (it was free!), you can buy similar tools on Amazon made for the purpose. And a good chunk of the time just blowing air in will get the job done.

I’ve used a paperclip and a bamboo bbq skewer in the past. Just be gentle and it should be fine.

Toothpick worked. Would have been better if it was a basic toothpick and not one of the larger “fancy” ones as I felt like it was putting pressure on the port.

I could not see much down in there. I was thinking some lint initially and tried blowing it out but nothing. I picked out a somewhat fascinating amount of sawdust.
