Annoyed Thoughts

Yeah, that was just a swypo. I guess my phone doesn’t know the word sukkah. I’ll fix that.

Also, i think the name of the holiday is just the plural of the name of the structure.

Yahoo! Mail does a terrible job filtering spam. It’s as though there’s no filtering at all.

I manage my mom’s email account for her - she’s not really capable of doing email anymore.

Strangely yahoo seems to do a pretty good job with spam for me. Makes me wonder if how often a user flags stuff as spam makes a big difference in treatment by account.

wasn’t just your phone that didn’t know that word.

I flag it all as spam, no change/improvement.

I think I lost my belt going through security, so if you see a guy with his pants falling down tomorrow, that’s me.

Microsoft was absolutely terrible for many, many months. I was seriously getting around a hundred per day. And then, about two months ago, they fixed it. I still have a few slip by but it’s like a couple per week.

I was getting lots of Microsoft scam emails per day, though not nearly that many. 100% went in my yahoo spam folder.

I could post this every day, but it particularly annoyed me this morning. I can understand laziness in not even bothering to use a turn signal, although that really is some pretty extreme laziness given what you have to do to turn on a turn signal. But how can someone be so oblivious as to why the law, and, for that matter, turn signals themselves, exist that they think turning on the signal when they’re halfway through the turn makes any sense at all?

“finished” a jigsaw puzzle last night. “finished” because of course there’s a piece missing.

Which idiot signed me up to make 24 hard boiled eggs for my kids’ school tomorrow??

Derpy egg.

Still no response, more than 24 hours later. It can’t be that urgent to them.

is this substantially harder than making 1 hard-boiled egg? Beyond “more water” and “bigger pot”.

I regret signing up to make any hard boiled eggs! Tuesday nights are busy for us, and I didn’t think it through.

It takes about 30 minutes from start to finish with that many eggs, by the time they get up to a boil.

Should have signed up for 2 dozen raw eggs instead.

Yes, I’m lazy.

not in the year of hard things you don’t!

Purchased a pergola kit that a handyman said would work to put up for us this weekend.

The pergola is pre-treated and we discussed we wanted it stained the same color as our deck. Because he approved the pergola we sent him, we assumed that if sanding was needed he would do that and then stain it. It wasn’t clear to us that the pergola was pre-treated - we relied on his approval.

Now he says because of the treatment, it’s a massive pain to re-stain it. So we need to return a few thousand pounds of wood and order another. So we have to rent a truck.

What a pain. At least we are able to return the pergola at no cost - I was concerned we’d get hit with a 20% restocking fee. After all, they did deliver it from halfway across the country on a truck with only a handful of other deliveries, for no extra shipping cost. But if we carry it in, should be a full refund.

Still nothing, two days later.

I ordered 29 fabrics from an online shop. Lots of them are very similar to each other, and the cuts were not labeled, so I have spent about two hours trying to determine which fabric is which.

Oh, and they only sent me 28 of the fabrics.

This quilt has 4,320 1.5” squares in it, it will be the most pieces of any quilt I’ve made yet! But that’s all I’m going to share about it, but I want it to be a surprise to everyone when I finally reveal it.
