Annoyed Thoughts

You like fascist pillows?

I like this pillow, as a side sleeper. And as far as I know, not filled with the tears of libs.

I bought this one…
Coop Home Goods Original Loft,… Amazon.com: Coop Home Goods Original Adjustable Pillow, Queen Size Bed Pillows for Sleeping, Cross Cut Memory Foam Pillows - Medium Firm Back, Stomach and Side Sleeper Pillow, CertiPUR-US/GREENGUARD Gold : Home & Kitchen
…off of Amazon as a replacement but don’t like it enough..I really need neck support and it starts out okay but in about five minutes flattens to a nothingburger

Well , at the time it was purchased, it was not yet publicly known that this guy was batshit crazy.

My kid has one, too - a very small one (about 6" x 12"?) It has the name of the company on it as a frequent reminder of my annoyance that I apparently contributed to him. Actually I’m not sure where the pillow came from. I know I wasn’t the one who bought it. It still annoys me. But not enough to get rid of it.

I’ve been receiving calls (supposedly) from these numbers…
325-208-7735
325-222-8476
325-294-3224
325-294-3233
325-294-3234
325-294-3256
325-294-5049
325-294-5090
325-294-5129
325-294-5131
325-294-5132
325-294-5136
369-296-9096
469-296-9946
469-306-0477
806-298-0364
806-298-1341
806-298-3113

Since I have my iphone on silent for calls that are not in my contacts I don’t hear a ring, but, interestingly, the voicemail indicator lights up even though there is no vm. Clicking on that button clears the indicator & shows these kind people don’t like me enough to leave a message. I’m really interested in extending my car’s warranty, but no one seems interested in educating me on how I could do that.

It’s cool and drizzly here, yet the teens are walking around in short sleeves. :meep:

And there’s a gaggle of giggly girls in the corner of sbux.

CBS Sunday morning is really annoying today

There should be an iq test to pass airport security. The assholes sitting behind me wouldn’t have made it through. Instead, I get to listen to their drunken ass stories of stupidity.

Had to rip out about 25% of my quilting on my newest project. As slow as quilting feels, seam ripping is much worse.

That sounds frustrating. Was something misplaced or were you not happy with the quality or something else? I’m not a quilter so not sure what would cause that to be necessary.

It’s hot as balls in the testing room today. That proves that testing is hell.

I had a quilting order coming today, about $100 worth of stuff.

I got my order, and I also got a second order with the same stuff, plus another $75 or so of fabric I DIDN’T order. So I emailed the company to let them know and asked what they wanted me to do. I’m not going to pay to ship it back, but they can pay me to ship it back if they want to. Kind of hope they just tell me to keep it. I would definitely use the fabric they sent, eventually.

The back of the quilt got bunched while I was sewing, which I didn’t notice until I was very far into it.

Use that extra fabric to quilt something, even if it’s not quilting material.

Alternatively, donate that to someone you know who could put it to good use for a favor to be named later.

@NerdAlert , you still going on that quilting cruise??? Wouldn’t hurt to bring some extra material!!! :bulb:

Ah, that’s annoying and thus apropos for the thread.

I bought a sukkah several years ago, and didn’t buy a bamboo “roof”, because i always have something i can prune in the spring to cover it.

They sent me the roof. I refused to pay. They insisted i pay to ship it back. I said, “no way, this is your error, you fix it”. They continued to insist i pay. The credit card company ruled on my side. I have this big roll of bamboo that I’ve never used.

I was up too late last night. Today, when i poured water over my tea leaves, they didn’t absorb it as easily as they usually do. After i finished my cereal, the tea wasn’t as dark as it usually is. (See photo for how i can tell.)

I poured it into my mug anyway. Yeah, i didn’t turn the electric kettle on. Sigh.

I started over, and now I’m enjoying my tea, though. So i guess all’s well that ends well.

The Sukkah is the structure, Sukkot is the holiday
