The vet didn’t flat out say the dog is getting fat but implied it.
Had to drive to WV today for my great nephew’s birthday party. This part of my husband’s family is exactly what you’d expect based on that information alone. Niece had him at 16, who knows if they’ll even be able to get to their own party because they have no reliable transportation, and this place is in a pretty sketch warehouse in a run down industrial area. But it’s only two hours of my life. Plus, now my husband owes me one and my family isn’t much better to spend time with, honestly.
@Echo: I’m sure the V-E-T meant phat, not fat.
The vet knew not to say such a thing. What the vet meant was throw the ball moar!
I had to tell the spare human no more rounded cups of kibble.
All trobolled up and nowhere to go, amirite???
@The_Polymath Yo, Paulie!!! We should go for noodles sometime!!! And you too @colonelsmoothie !!!
My dry month isn’t over yet.
Its been a while since I went to a noodle place in Chinatown over here in London.
This is our regular place when we go out with the little one.
This winter, I’ve heard several different weathermen talking about how “it’s going to be cold despite the clear skies”. Are they new here? Of course it is clear when Arctic air too cold to hold any moisture at all makes it way here. It’s not “despite the clear skies”. It hate freezing my butt on clear days in Jan and Feb. Give me a nice cloudy 32F+ day.
Older son had flu A two weeks ago, was able to isolate and convalesce at his mom’s. Younger son now has a fever and a cough, so I ordered some covid/flu combo tests which will be here tomorrow. I hope it’s neither one, and also not pneumonia (he just had that 6 weeks ago), but he almost never gets a fever unless he’s pretty moderately ill. Fingers crossed.
When I told him he couldn’t go to school tomorrow, he had me leave the room for a minute so he could shout “Woooo! Yeah, alright!!” He’s a silly kid.
:7up: & :toast:
If I had been on the impacted flight, despite my appreciation for amusing WiFi SSIDs, this would have been annoying.
Got a call from a financial services rep at my mom’s bank about the IN-FLUFFIN-CORRECT tax slip (see the sad tale above). I get the feeling I am going to have to explain this aaaaaaaaall over again. Should I run this by OSFI and/or CRA???
What is CII on the top one?
Ctl= control I think
Yes, it’s the control line.
Ah, ok. Well it stinks that he either never fully recovered or re-caught the flu.
