Hmmm, ex-MIL had a white Mustang. I liked it. Actually, a (male) friend had a white Mustang too, come to think of it.
An ex-BF had a green Mustang. Again, I liked it.
I mean, I don’t really care too much about cars in general*. But I didn’t think any of them made a stupid color choice. I do think creamsicle is a dumb color for a car though.
*My ex drove a Ford Escort when we started dating and I was like “cool - he’s not into cars”. But then he bought a BMW and I was like “what a waste of money”. STBX drove a Honda Accord when we started dating and I was like “cool - he’s not into cars”. And then he bought and BMW and I was like “what a waste of money”. And green Mustang guy also now drives a BMW, although that happened well after we broke up. Something about being with me apparently inspires men to buy BMWs and I wish I knew what it was so I could stop putting that vibe into the universe. They are very fussy cars… I do NOT recommend them, even if you’re committed to buying a luxury car.
I’m pretty “meh” about cars, but I get the appeal of Mustangs. Not all are created equal though. The convertibles you rent in Hawaii are very bare-bones models, other than being convertible. But the ones that my ex-MIL and ex-BF drove had a little more oomph.
Mustang seems like the obvious more practical choice for a daily driver. It’s not practical if it’s your only car in the household, but would be fine with the tiguan.
Plaza has a parking lot entrance wide enough for two cars. Woman pulling out from the plaza is in the MIDDLE trying to leave, preventing me from pulling in.
Just saw a guy put his left turn signal on entering a roundabout. Sure enough he tried to go the wrong way. I honked about 30 times and he backed up and proceeded to go the correct way through the roundabout
Believe it or nor North Dakota has passed a law requiring drivers in roundabouts to use their turn signals. I think there are about 10 in the roundabouts in the state. I was just there and don’t remember seeing one.
Only thing I can see is if there are cars hanging out into the street or something. Then I think you need to try to consume as small a footprint as reasonably possible.
But if that’s not the situation then forget it. As long as you pull up to the speaker as soon as it’s your turn you’re not slowing anyone down.
I can understand requiring a turn signal (leaving only) if the roundabout radius is very large. But I doubt that is the case in ND.

Conversely, zipper merging is a difficult concept for many here when it comes to merging two lanes into one. Most drivers when they see the sign “Left Lane Ends in 1 Mile” will immediately start queueing in the right lane and then get annoyed at you if you drive past them in the left lane to where the actual merge occurs (merging in a zipper-like fashion, as they do in most other countries).
