I just glanced at the base of the table next to me at sbux: someone clipped their nails and just left them on the ground!!!
Today has been better. Still coughing some but med seems effective today.
There were 4 chocolate truffles. I shared them with my parents, leaving 1 left. Walked them downstairs, watched them get in car for airport, came back upstairs. 0 truffles left.
I might not be the best at math, but pretty sure that my dad ate the last one!
I was going to ask if it was the dog.
If it’s chocolate I sure hope not!
Kid: “I have a question, [scenario], what should I do?”
Me: “Easy, do [answer].”
Kid: “But I don’t want to, I’d rather [alternative answer].”
Me: “No, that won’t work, and it’s way too complex. Just do [answer].”
Kid: “No, you don’t understand, [7-minute explanation of why alternative answer makes more sense].”
Me, to myself: this is 10 minutes of my life I’m never getting back.
A small glass broke in my dishwasher. The pieces were large enough to find easily.
I have weekly voice therapy appointments, at a place where you get a reminder and the option to check in a week ahead of time. So sitting eating lunch before one appointment and I’m being texted to check in for next week’s. Chill out, soulless automata, I’m good.
Came to office today and I’m coughing. Wore a mask for my in person meeting. Guess masking is gonna be a thing for me as I’ve read that this cough can hang on. I am not otherwise feeling sick.
IT trying to figure out why my new PW is not letting me in to VPN. Le sigh…
ETA: Fixed, but I had to change a 2 week old PW.
Having a camera run up your nose and into your throat doesn’t feel good. 3/10, would not recommend.
Plus side is I probably won’t need to do that again.
The pet cremation place should really wait a few days before calling to confirm your wishes. I didn’t answer, he only died four hours ago.
I’m sorry for your loss.
Sorry to hear, NA
That seems to rather defeat the whole purpose of checking in in the first place. I mean, why does the business even bother???
My insurance company’s “allowed amount” for therapy is like $75/visit. Or I can go through their telehealth site and pay $140/visit.
Guess I’m starting over with a new therapist again.
I like to sprinkle cinnamon sugar on toast. Normally I buy Kroger brand but got some from Target. The sugar crystals are in the Target brand are too big, resulting in both taste and texture issues.
Do you buy a thing called cinnamon sugar? Or are you mixing your own?
I like to make my own. I make it cinnamon-y-er than the pre-mixed stuff.
