How much difference would it make? Is the assumption you could be convicted of a crime if you spent it but not if you deposited it?
now i wonder if it was meant to be funny
I have always assumed if it was counterfeit it wouldn’t accept it at all at the atm. Maybe that’s not true. Nothing to do with being arrested, I just don’t want the embarrassment of a human interaction. Also, I don’t assume most places accept hundreds anyway. Maybe that’s also wrong.
Most places do, but some tiny places might not have enough change in the till.
I’m almost positive your grocery store would accept them, and with feeding a family I’d imagine you’d easily burn through the cash that way and can save yourself a trip to the ATM.
We have been planning to decorate Christmas cookies tonight at my sister’s house. She is not the one with Covid. The one who has Covid is of course skipping. My other sister, who lives with the Covid sister, said she was coming.
So I asked her, “isn’t it very possible you have Covid too?” And she responded with, “…I mean I guess.”
And I said I wasn’t telling her she can’t come, it isn’t my house anyway, just making an observation.
And she responded with, “Well you’re going to think I’m sick because I have some very bad allergies at the moment and I don’t want to be judged lol.”
I asked her how long she has had these allergies, because she wasn’t sniffling or anything when I saw her two days ago. She said it came on pretty suddenly.
In December, where it’s cold. With no other changes in her environment.
Yeah, she definitely has Covid and is in complete denial about it.
i think I had Covid 2 weeks ago just after I got my flu shot. i think that because I was somewhat sick for 2 days, and since then it seems like my sense of smell has been significantly diminished. that’s a thing, right?
So did you go to decorate cookies with Typhoid Covid Mary anyway?
It’s not that big of a deal if you end up taking to the Secret Service over a counterfeit bill. Kind of. Just know they have NO sense of humor about it.
Nah, she decided to stay home when it became obvious that everyone else in the group thought she had Covid. She has tests but won’t take one, insisting she knows “what allergies feel like.”
My wife’s parents and her brother all picked up a “cold” a few weeks back. There’s a decent chance they had COVID, but none tested as they were sure it was a cold. COVID symptoms for me have been generally the same as cold symptoms
Daughter came home ill. COVID negative, going to go sit in the wait room for strep throat test and likely back later for antibiotics.
But then you wouldn’t get credit card points!
When a guest, trying to be helpful, ignores your instructions to leave step 1 of a task for you to take care of, which ends up doubling the time and frustration for you to complete.
A Tile Pro I’d bought long ago has been sitting around mostly unused on a spare set of keys. I’m sure I must have known it at one time, but just today (re?)realized it is also a phone finder and could have saved me some running-around-the-house-frantically time.
Why are all of the school zone signs on & flashing at 11:30 AM on 12/26? The schools are all closed!
I’m sure it’s on some sort of timer. I bet they blink on MLK day or Good Friday, too.
That’s dumb. Should only be school days. They don’t go off over the summer, so it’s not like it’s every weekday. And they don’t usually go off in the middle of the day either… morning & afternoon when the kids might be walking to/from school.
I don’t think Mini Me’s school even has a school zone. And we sometimes walk… but we cut through a backyard and a parking lot and never are actually on a main road.
I heard heard a loud thump in the house a few days back. It was loud enough that I thought somebody had an ER-worthy fall. Everybody was fine.
Turns out a shelf in a basement closet collapsed and a bunch of crap fell on the floor.
Someone sent out a meeting request for late January on Christmas.
