No, not a bialy. A flagel is a flatter version of a bagel.
It’s a thing in a lot of places:
I love bagels, but for a sandwich the flagel is superior.
East Coast, I love a scooped bagel, but I rarely ask for it served that way, they are ones in the house or served at a break fast. I prefer it to a half bagel, especially if toasted.

I find a bagel tough for a sandwich - scooped works well for Tuna, whitefish or Egg Salad
I like a flagel, but like a bagel, it is a lot of bread. So more to use a half for a sandwich.
Also, due to the flatness, harder to cut
A bialy almost always has to be toasted, but marvelous if it has the onions inside
Yesterday, a 9th person from [recruiting firm] contacted me having seen my “impressive resume” which I haven’t updated in 4+ years.

red eye flight for me. slept like buddy the elf - a full 40 minutes. did not emerge with his energy level.
got home at 615am though! ran. slept. went to work at 1230. crushing it!

On an overnight flight to Europe, the guy next to me spent the entire flight with the light on, rocking back and forth praying. I did not sleep much on that flight. Then proceeded to try to attend a math lecture later in the morning, that did not work either.

When I go to Europe, I try to stay awake after I land until at least 9pm or so. I have worked for the day when on business multiple times
Gassing up at Costco. The guy at the front pump has had the nozzle in his Mercedes E350 when the car at the back pump pulled out, then for the entire time the next car at the back pump (a station wagon) gassed up, plus the entire time I (another station wagon) was gassing up. Either Mercedes E350s take a crap ton of gas or the guy was a total douchenozzle hogging a pump & dorking around on his phone while people were waiting.
Its been raining non-stop for weeks now.
No sign of it stopping either.

I’m an idiot. I have three students booked to go fishing quite a ways from home, requires an overnight trip. And to keep costs low, we go camping.
There’s no campsites open that time of year. Currently trying to find some public land in the area. Damn.

My 20-ish year old microwave died last night, while I was fixing my dinner.
I was able to order a new one for delivery today.
While I was getting the new one out of the box and onto the counter, my wife, who was supervising, bumped into me while sneezing…and I dropped the new microwave, shattering the glass on the door.
