I was enjoying my steak dinner with Brussels sprouts. Then took the last bite of steak and got a mouthful of caraway seed taste from the Montreal steak seasoning. Blech.
OptumRx is terrible as well. I think it’s just that none of them are good.

It was built in the 1960s - well after WW2. I don’t think “After WW2” would apply (9/11 was “after WW2”). “During the Cold War” makes more sense.

I noticed I had a balance on my overdraft protection. I called the bank bc there was no way I was close to an overdraft at any time this month. So it turns out, i went through the drive thru one day and took out $200. They took it out of the wrong account, so they transferred $100 to avoid an overdraft. Instead of just saying, “hey, you don’t have $200 in that account” to which I would have replied “not THAT account—the one with all the money!”
I had to pay 30 cents interest bc someone messed up. Last month I had to pay an $8 late fee bc someone messed up. I’ve had this account for 40 years. Why are they all of a sudden messing up?

The Panera spicy chicken sandwich is garbage. It’s like a McD’s sandwich with some watered down Frank’s Red Hot on it.
My son who almost never throws up has thrown up twice today. Once after dinner, once just now. He was asleep and kept throwing himself back into the pool of vomit as we were trying to wake him up and get him to the shower.
Sheets have been changed, he’s been bathed, going back to bed now. Thankfully there wasn’t a ton of it the second round, maybe his stomach is empty now? I really hope.
Vomit is such a lovely smell, really burns itself on your brain.

Their non-spicy chicken sandwich is pretty unexceptional, too. It’s fine. But dull.
Oh no! Hope he’s feeling better soon. My cold is still making me miserable, plus I forgot to drink coffee yesterday so now I’ve got a wicked headache too.
Stupid Covid-related masking and social distancing has killed our resistance to other bugs it seems.

Not annoyed, but my experience is the opposite: this is by far the longest stretch in my life that I’ve gone without picking up a cold or other respiratory ailment. I haven’t had one since 2019. :knocksonwood:
