When I first started buying it, they had Passionfruit and Lemon Lime. Lemon Lime was an excellent thirst-quencher after a good exercise session but as I haven’t seen it for a couple of years, I assumed they just stopped making it. The ginger one does taste a little weird but I still have quite a few packets left, so I’ll class it as interesting.
Yeah…I found the lemon lime at a different Costco than my usual one.
Update: Only partly the out-of-town DD’s fault.
Local one explained this morning that DD is phasing out the veggie egg white sandwiches altogether. Once a location sells their last one, no more.
OOT location did NOT explain this, and obviously still had them in stock, but that’s undoubtedly why there was a problem.
No more breakfasts at DD is an annoyed thought in and of itself.
I’m sorry for your loss.
That sucks. I hate when my favorite goes away.
But isn’t there anything else there you might want to eat?
In a pinch I can eat the regular fried egg sandwich, but it’s not good enough to eat regularly.
It’s a toss up between SO whistling the Alvin & the Chipmunks Christmas song or the suggestion of putting spaghetti sauce on nachos.
@Echo: Get ready for some nachos with spaghetti sauce!!! That’s some good eatin’ right there!!!
Got to the airport 45 minutes early to pick up someone whose plane was 15 minutes late. I’m annoyed at myself for being chronically early for everything. Good thing cell phone lots exist.
Just tell her that whistling that song puts you “in the mood”, IYKWIM. Whistling will stop, or not. Win-win.
I bleeping hate all of the bleeping stone contractors in my area. Looking for some soapstone for a bath.
First shop just ghosted me. I went there in person, they said they had some in the warehouse and would send pics. Got a few emails apologizing for delays, then the last 2-3 emails received no response.
Second shop had a remnant, perfect. Gave me a ridiculous quote around $200 per sq ft. I called them and they said that was a mistake. Buuuuut, they weren’t sure if the person who bought the slab was actually done with it. After like four more phone calls trying to get this done, they now say it’s a weird deal and they can’t sell it.
Third shop says they have some, but they won’t cut anything until the vanities are installed, and they need 5-6 weeks to do it. So that’s no good. I told them they could template it now and I’d just pick it up and install it myself, I’ve done that before. Nope, they only sell stone installed.
Got two more shops lined up. Ugh. We’ll see.
for 30+ years, the taco bell meximelt was my favorite. then they got rid of it. but you could order a cheesy roll up, add beef and add pico to build your own. then they got rid of pico. deep sigh. sadness ensues
I’m all about the enchirito. I should go ask if they know what that is still, or I think I could DIY it. Combo burrito, extra cheese, red sauce, more extra cheese and onions on top.
Did it used to have black olives on top? I can live without those, I don’t think they have those anymore.
ANOTHER stinking cold caught from the kid. Everyone tested negative for covid, so it’s not even a good story. Just feeling bad for the sake of feeling bad.
I have a giant cold sore. I only get them when I’m very stressed out (which I’m not, currently), or sick. Blah.
My thermometer is stuck in Celsius mode. It was Fahrenheit when I bought it. I have no idea how this happened.
Just multiply by 9/5 and add 32. Easy peasy.
Let’s see, 37.7 x2 + 30 =105
Vs. googling which said 99.9
Close enough for weather but a big difference for body temperature.
(And yeah, google said it’s not a fever until 37.8. But my normal temp is 97.9/36.6 so it was a fever for me.)
37.7 * (9/5) + 32 = 99.86
teh googlez was rite
