Another thing that works surprisingly well on ants: windex type products. I have no idea if it has similar effects on fruit flies

Dishwasher had been leaking a little at the corners of the door. I checked the internet and…tightened screws in door AND replaced the gasket.
Ran it empty and…more leak than before I replaced it. Super pissed

We use the vacuum cleaner for fruit flies. It might help get the last few your traps don’t take care of.
My dad did this. I always thought it was a poor, filth-living thing.
Ours is leaking. Just a little bit, and I can’t see what is leaking but it’s coming out at the very bottom of the machine. It’s damaged our wood floors a bit and I’m super pissed right now. We’ve called a repairman, in the meantime we have to hand wash dishes like it’s the 1800s.
I also remember lock like a clock.

I went to Van Gogh: the Immersive Experience this weekend. I enjoyed the exhibit a lot, but I was annoyed by how crowded it was.

Best way to get rid of fruit flies is to get rid of whatever they are after. Check your pantry for any fruit, vegetables, potatoes or whatever that is out in the open. If it’s overripe or rotting at all, fruit flies will find it and they multiply fast (they struggle with subtraction and division, though so use that to your advantage.)
Sometimes it’s a houseplant that has root rot or that’s recently come in from outdoors. Water the plant with a solution of 2 to one water/hydrogen peroxide and that will kill them in the plant.
If you think you’ve checked everywhere for the rotting fruit/veg and you still have fruit flies - look again.

There were THREE beepin’ wasps in the beepin’ kitchen window yesterday!!! And there was another beepin’ wasp in the beepin’ front door this morning!!! Beep the beepin’ little beepers - they can all go beep themselves!!!
