Bessent publicly says Powell should not attend Supreme Court arguments on attempt to fire Cook

Bessent has attended SCOTUS arguments before, but that’s apparently OK if you are a sycophant.

Focus on coal? We’ve been doing the opposite of that in the US :man_facepalming:

Coal power has been getting slaughtered by natural gas on costs and pollution. Wind + battery and solar + battery is some of the cheapest and easiest power generation to install.

I’m beginning to suspect half of Trump’s actions are to support desperate fossil fuel investors.

Yeah, US coal share of electricity gen jumped last year, while both India and China coal share decreased. Coal is just more expensive, not even counting proper coal ash disposal costs.

Are you really going to believe the lying Fake News media over Trump?

Anyone can do stuff with AI nowadays, and I’m sure the Deep State wants you to think he did that.

WASHINGTON—A U.S. intelligence official has alleged wrongdoing by Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard in a whistleblower complaint that is so highly classified it has sparked months of wrangling over how to share it with Congress, according to U.S. officials and others familiar with the matter.

The filing of the complaint has prompted a continuing, behind-the-scenes struggle about how to assess and handle it, with the whistleblower’s lawyer accusing Gabbard of stonewalling the complaint. Gabbard’s office rejects that characterization, contending it is navigating a unique set of circumstances and working to resolve the issue.

Bessent lies so effortlessly but never gets corrected.

Among other lies, he states that Canadian travel to the US is down, not because of his administration’s policies but, because the Canadian economy is struggling. Too bad that his political audience didn’t have enough command of its facts to point out that Canadian travel to countries other than the US was up strongly.

Bessent reminds me of Gove here. The guy you send out to lie ridiculously on behalf of the admin. Gove once claimed to have driven to test his eyesight to defend Dominic Cummings.

Looks like the upper echelon of the US Government has been infiltrated by a foreign intelligence service.

We strongly suspected that to be the case when Gabbard was appointed.

Is this really a surprise given all the Russian connections of this government?

Note the date of the article. I said it years ago. If Vlad ever visits he deserves to sit behind the desk in the oval office.
