LATF changed the AG-49/A effective date (again). This actuarial guideline doesn’t seem to fit in the VM or anywhere else. Its applicability to IUL illustrations is muddied by the lack of an illustration model reg in about a dozen states, with many others doing at best lackadaisical enforcement. How does this affect your work on illustration certifications? How do you expect your state to enforce AG-49?
