last night’s Jeopardy had a “retired actuary”. I think he got 2nd place. (My kid was watching, I didn’t see the whole episode).
And a video podcast I listen to was discussing with a guest, who brought up actuarial science (https://youtu.be/pH4O2KCu6xg?si=f3OqbB54PO72tm-b) (maybe 15 minutes in? maybe 25? not sure about 34:00 in he starts talking actuarial science; a little off-base, but closest non-actuary I’ve heard)

Took me a while to find the actuaries - I thought it was a little speck of dirt on my screen way below all the other bubbles.
I might be one of fewer than 5 actuaries at my company who have gotten divorced. Out of 150 or so? I can only think of two others offhand.
Divorced before actuary or after? At my former company, the chief actuary before I got there, then the one who hired me, but not the chief when I left divorced, so 2/3 in that set. My first trainer was a career changer who was divorced before she became an actuary.
I got separated before I got credentialed, but legally divorced after. Was working in an actuarial role either way, though!
Did you even once consider how that would affect our rankings!?
