is this game over?
Is that an official question?
For that matter, is this?
Is that an official question? (Jk)
No. Not yet. I’m looking for the standardized name for the bird I’ve chosen.
TWO wasted questions!
Aaaaargggh!
bald eagle
Is it a hawk (official)?
- Lucy - Is it manmade? No
- Tiffany - Is it alive? Yes
- MayanActuary - Is it an animal? Yes
- Soyleche - If I were in the presence of it, would I most likely be at a zoo? Maybe. You would definitely see it better at a zoo than in the wild
- Lucy - Is it native to North America? Yes
- John.S.Mill - Is it mammal? No
- Lucy - Is it a bird? Yes
- Masse24 - Is it a raptor? Yes
- Lucy - Is it a hawk? No
I just saw a hawk yesterday, so doubt we “would definitely see it better at a zoo.”
Bald Eagle too, though rarer to see than a hawk.
California Condor?
FYI, for me to count your post as a question, you have to give the answer in the form of a question. Jeopardy rules ya’ll.
Fixed

so…
Not a hawk
Could be:
Owl
Eagle
Osprey
Vulture
Falcon
Unlikely to be a
Harrier
Kite
I’m trying to think of categories that separate those roughly 50/50
Woody Woodpecker?
Never mind . . . not a question.
Alright, probably not a vulture, I think the CA condor is the only one you’d be likely to see in north america…
There’s a turkey vulture, too, but unlikely to be what he’s cluing, I’d guess.
I’ve seen bald Eagles on a not too infrequent basis in North America
Ohhh you mean of vultures
Bald eagle is an eagle, not a vulture.
I’ve seen both bald eagles and golden eagles in the wind in NA
(ninja’d)
Size q can help here
Exactly. Me too . . .
So not a Bald Eagle.
I don’t think it’s ruled out. They have them at the zoo and you can see them better there
