2026 NFL Football Thread

That assumes, before the season even begins, that those teams will have a quality similar to their 2025 seasons.
However, one wonders why suddenly the DET, worst in the division 2025, would be in the hunt for a playoff spot. (Maybe due to their easier schedule??)
So, it is an irrelevant difference (IMO).
Don’t win the division if you want an easier schedule the following year.

This seemed to sneak in under the radar: TEN getting as new stadium, paid mostly by the citizens of Nashville and of the State of Tennessee. cuz fuh-baw!
Smaller capacity, indoor, and artificial turf.

Get a Super Bowl, cuz indoor, and Nashville is not all that warm-weathery in Feb.

Owners doing stupid things (and some doing smart things), but there is no risk, so no one should care, except for fans buying tickets and tchotchkes and whose whole self-esteem rides on the choice they made (or forced to make) when they were kids.

Holy shit!
You’re rich; rent out the speedway for a day.

Pfft. 135? Amateur.
We topped that on the way to Vegas.

They could always follow the Cardinals:

Got IL and IN competing to spend the most on them.

Since the Browns can not ever build a winner, might as well be the runt of the billionaire litter.

garret is wasted on that squad. I actually like the return they got.

between garret’s contract and watsons - they had so many complicated adjustments they made to each - i can’t figure out what the sal cap impact will be. but in 2 years they will be free of both.

Whats is it with LA teams buying all the championships this year?

And they will have drafted three QBs by then, too.

Nah, Shedeur gonna be league MVP in 2 years

I’m guessing it didn’t take much convincing for Myles Garret to waive his no trade clause. Seems like a great move for both teams. Verse seems like the big loser in this situation

So much for “hard work pays off”…

Also, can we please come up with some other word besides “blockbuster” every time a big name gets traded?
