Liar, Liar, Pants on Fire…
Heard on the radio: “Gino Smith is the best Jets quarterback since Gino Smith”
Probably true. I would like Geno to have a good year after his miserable time in Las Vegas.
Maybe people are forgetting how atrocious Geno was with the Jets? The only positive thing I can say is he was better than Zach Wilson and 2025 Justin Fields. Ryan FitzMagic and Rogers were way better.
Exactly
But Hawks spend big to re-sign Rashid Shaheed.

I don’t see anywhere in The Rooney Rule that is discriminatory. Just that teams have to interview minority candidates before offering the job to a white male.
Wouldn’t want to reward one of your opponents with free compensatory picks!
Figuring out logistics to a game half a world away;

I’d certainly scratch the final pre-season game, get the team roster finalized before leaving, go a week early. Enjoy the country. Plenty of time to get acquainted to local time and adjust for the game time. Leave right after, get ten days to readjust.
And, this is why they fail:

I guess we need his definition of “promised land.” Maybe that means an additional year of employment for Glenn?
I’m assuming some tropical beach, somewhere, in January
No pressure Geno
Would the #1 pick in the 2027 draft count as the promised land?
I’m rooting for Geno, whose rise with Seattle was one of the best NFL stories of the last decade imo. With that Jets team around him, could go sideways fast.
Normally an arrest report right before the draft might tank a prospect’s position. Not sure this one will. Might even boost it.
Why would it boost it??? What exactly was he blocking the sidewalk for anyway?
Sorry, not getting this. “Blocking the sidewalk” with what?
His body?
Arrested for standing on sidewalk. He stepped back after being asked to, but smirked at the officer. No smirking at LEO’s allowed on the sidewalk.
Guessing he scored pretty low on the wonderlic test
Sounds like garden variety drunken college kid stuff. The article didn’t say anything about being drunk. Just basing this on my observation of college campuses at 1:30 am. Doesn’t seem like a big deal.
I’m less excited about the draft this year than in the past. Probably because the Bears don’t have a top 10 pick for the first time since 2022.
I was so hoping he’d be an O-line prospect, in which case this stubborn refusal to stop blocking would be great tape.
but he’s a WR. still no one will give a shit about this arrest bc it is funny. i’d be embaraassed as a human to have to file real charges and have that be the write up.
