Caleb was great last year too. The team and coaches around him sucked though, and most pundits only pay attention to the record, assuming it’s 95% on the QB. Which is why everyone was sucking Jayden Daniels’s nut sack all last year. How’s that working out for them now?

Bears rookie Ozzy Trapilo has looked great in his 2 starts and it would be awesome if he was the long-term solution at LT. Major tests upcoming with 2 games against Parsons and 1 against Myles Garret.
I disagree that Caleb has been great this year. He’s had much better pocket awareness / allusiveness and has come through huge in comeback situations, but he’s still extremely inaccurate. One of the Chicago sportscasters put it really well when he said that the Bears are winning with Caleb, not because of him. The hope is that one day he can be the QB they win because of.

Everyone is learning a new offensive system together. There have been a ton of drops this year too. There’s going to be growing pains.
