Yep, SEA double dip with DST + Myers had 35 and 19 points respectively.
My team has gone from 0-5 to 6-7. Going into the last week I’m in a 4-way tie for 6th place which is the last playoff spot. I should win the tiebreaker on points, so basically a win and in.

I continue to draft well, but I should be fired as coach.
Define “draft well”
For me, it means not busting out on early draft picks (injuries don’t count too much) and striking gold at least once later on (Javonte Williams in the 11th).

I mailed it in this year, not getting too serious with it all. Wondering how I got only 50 points this week, half of my opponent’s score.

Oh well, extra chance in the lottery next year, plus I’ll probably host the lottery, so I’ll be there, so an additional chance.
Yeah, my entire team also decided to take the week off. This happened to me last year during our first playoff round. Would have otherwise won it all.
Well, a lot of these rules are created by people messing around!
Getting together is supposed to be the major reason our league exists. Some people obsess way too much, though, making it less fun to be around them.
I’m more of an “If ESPN allows it, then it’s allowed in our league,” kind of guy, just so my brother doesn’t have to do any more manual labor.
Also, as a fourth-place loser from last year, I am a member of the “Losers Justice Committee,” which rules on any disputes. Likely keeping my seat on the high court.
Other interesting rules:
- The sixth playoff team (top two get byes) is determined as the team, among the seven not yet in, with the highest point total for the regular season.
- We decided to try out the “ESPN IR” category. Instead of 16 draft rounds, only 14, but any player (up to two of them) you have on IR can be “reserved” on your team until they come off the IR. I think ESPN allows players listed as “Out” for the week as eligible to be placed on this reserve roster, but our League didn’t vote for that.
- We had at one time provided an extra chance in the following year’s lottery for anyone hosting Sunday games. One max per season, needed to announce the hosting two weeks in advance, etc. At one time we had two people living out of state, so we thought that unfair to them.
I made it into the playoffs on a monster week from Gibbs, Higgins and… Tony Pollard. May have used up all my luck.
I missed out on playoffs in one league where there was a 3-way tie for the last 2 spots. Every league I’ve ever been in breaks ties according to total points scored through the season, which I would have beaten the other two easily on. Instead the tie-breaker was head-to-head record, so the gods of randomness did not favor me there. Luckily, it’s a throwaway league for me that I don’t care all that much about.
We have one more week until playoffs. I might miss the playoffs with this team:

My QB situation was Murray/Fields. Someone dropped Burrow a while back and I picked him up a couple weeks ahead of his return. Had Dart for a short run.
First in points by quite a bit, but had some tilting losses.

It was looking bleak for me this week with Lamb, London, Harrison, and Pitts all hurt. I lucked out that another guy also underperformed, putting me in the BYE for round 1 of the playoffs this week. Hopefully I get at least half of those guys back.

my slim hopes of playoffs in one league hung on jalen hurts. i watched long enough to see him credited (debited?) with TWO turnovers on one play. and end the game with another. (others in between). i backed my way (-9 points) to the low score of the week penalty. that season over. it was a rough one.
other league team is crushing it, so…i am sure they will lay an egg in the playoffs. good fun through!
Somehow made the playoff. I think I have to bench Pickens at this point. I had Mike Evans stashed for a while. Does anyone have faith in Pickens still?

I probably start Evans over Pickens, as Mayfield was featuring him last week. But Pickens is still capable of big days.
Lost my “NIT” playoff by less than two points. One less thing to do each week.
Similar for me, but the question is Godwin over Pickens.
Also staring at Adams, Watson, Flowers and Shakir on my bench, the first two likely injured for this week.
