2025 Fantasy Baseball

Also hate it, but wondering if you hate it more as it’s a Red Sox thing…

No that doesn’t bother me. It’s mostly just the fantasy aspect. Seems like every year I lose one player or another to that game in some league.

The Braves just traded for a bullpen arm with an extremely appropriate name: Blewett

This is his 3rd team this season, just traded, yet starting today as an opener.

Ouch…

(Fortunately I think I’m gonna get away with that this week. )

Today the Braves are relying on another bullpen arm with an appropriate name: Bummer

Wow my team stinks…

I got taken to the woodshed last week. Ouch.

I wonder then what that says about the team that lost to you…

Well done! Hopefully this sparks a turn-around for you. :+1:

By a team of mostly Mets… gotta hurt!

The Mets have never bothered me. Of course with Soto there, it might change.

Checked out the MVPs page for Yahoo! today and a lot of expected names, PCA, Judge, Ohtani, Wood, etc… then at the bottom of the roto version is Sean Manaea, who is on 11% of the top 500 rosters despite being 35% owned and not having played this year

Was down big early in week, closed to 3-5 going into today. Finish 9-1. What a week.

I must not understand how fantasy baseball works. I was up all week! Had a really busy Sunday so didn’t check in until this morning…and if I had checked in Sunday and put in my 2 SP that I left on the bench, their 12K wouldn’t have changed anything, but their 4.91 ERA might have lost me the 10th category…

And this isn’t the first time I’ve had a strong start to the week, only to crash and burn by the weekend.

And so, it’s time to sell. Make me some offers. I don’t see anyone that is untouchable.

Last week I did the same thing on Saturday… cost me 1.5 games… littlest days will catch up to you. And it sucks!

Thankfully I’ve started this week off down 1-8…maybe things are looking up!

If I knew that’s what Witt cost I would have made an offer! (Actually I never looked)

I really don’t know what Witt should have cost. I was made an offer, I made a counter-offer for more, and maybe should have asked for even more…dunno. I just know he’s not playing up to his top-3 preseason hype, he can’t be kept, my team is going nowhere, and a 4 round upgrade is better than nothing…

You’ve got a point on him not living up to his statistical hype… plus I overpay on everything haha

I need the transaction to go through 3 days ago. Losing Schwellenbach is a killer. He’s been a steady stud and pitched a gem Sunday. With Greene out til ASB and Olsen, Langford and Pena all slow in returning, my ILs have become unmanageable. Hoping for a 3-6-1 this week.
