2025 Fantasy Baseball

My keepers at this point:
Spencer Strider (Round 13-3 = Round 10)
Jose Altuve (Round 15-3 = Round 12)

and then one of (in order of likelihood, and default if no update):
Marcell Ozuna (Round 21-3 = Round 18)
Zac Gallen (Round 7-3 = Round 4)

I’m playing catch-up everywhere (life, work, baseball) so I’ll get us back on track with draft dates, confirming teams, keeper rules and all that jazz (chisolm) this week.

I am not keeping Jazz

I thought the 13th was the latest round we could use to keep anyone - so any player who was drafted in rounds 16+ (or who was undrafted) was a 13th round keeper? If not, then make Ketel Marte an 18th-round keeper for me, & shift Luzardo & Kim down to 12th & 13th round keepers.

The way I remember it, if you drafted someone late (20th round for example), you are rewarded for that foresight and awesome drafting by earning the n-3 (17 in this example)th round keeper.

If you picked a guy up off waivers (undrafted), he would have to be kept in the 13th round (or sooner).

And assuming I got that right, I’m going to keep 3 SP:

George Kirby (7th Round)
Bobby Miller (13th)
Pablo Lopez (14th)

Oh yeah, I see that’s how we’ve been doing it! I also see a “max of 3 keepers” rule way back when but idk if we do that this year or not.

Found the final official ruling.

Keepers -
Free agents are 13th round for 1st, 12th for 2nd, 11th for 3rd keepers (unless you have multiple 13th or 12th round picks)
Everyone else is last year round minus 3
Rounds 1-3, unkeepable
Max keepers 3 players

Still looking for Greenman and Smails.

Would everyone mind throwing their team name out there so I don’t have to figure them out.

Can only keep 3… Luzardo was drafted in the 15th Round, so he would be a 12th rounder. Kim would be a 13th as he was not drafted. Marte (you’ll love this) was drafted in the 21st, so he goes to the 18th. Snell would be 7th, so you got one correct.

One out of four correct isn’t bad

In that case I’ll keep Luzardo (12), Kim (13) & Marte (18 :open_mouth:).

That also means Blake Snell (7th round keeper) is available to the highest bidder. Bag of baseballs, last round upgrade, etc.

We haven’t been doing pre-season keeper trades (mostly because it’s a pain to process in Yahoo!). So Snell goes back to the pool.

Ezekial 25 17 here!
