Actually it goes to Alvarado and OG (all game, but final minute was Boss Level). Special shout out to Brunson coming back from the media doghouse and KAT doing all the little things in the few minutes the refs let him play.

I have to say I was fairly shocked when I saw how full MSG was at the end of that game.
I really expected it would have been 1/3 to 1/2 empty after they fell behind by 29 points. Even down 15-20 in the 4th I would have thought some people would leave. But it looked like nearly everyone stayed to the end.
I would have stayed given the cost of the tickets!

That was my initial thought as well. It has been quite the finals series. I’d like to see the Knicks win since it has been so long since they have.

Would be nice if Anunoby gets the MVP as he was unable to play due to injury on the Toronto 2019 NBA Championship team.
I just Googled when the last big 4 championship was for NYC and Copilot told me the Rangers won in 2024. I’m pretty sure I would have remembered that lol.

Hard to argue with that Game 5 performance.
Knicks earned it. Spurs were mostly great and would have beaten anyone else from the East.
The NBA is a difficult product for me to watch given the (unstated) changes to the fundamental rules of palming/double dribble and travelling. Try to find the greatest hesitation move by OG in Game 5…

Yeah, I loved that move that faked Wembanyama out of his shoes.
Wemby is a great talent - BUT…
He does a lot of dirty tactics. Which I feel will get closer scrutiny
He seems still very immature and arrogant
I feel he tries to do too much early in the game, covering the shooter and playing physically and doesn’t have the stamina to sustain it late in the game.
I find it surprising that Wemby was the best option for the final shot - as they seems to run the play for him. Not that it mattered much at that point.
I wanted SA over OKC. I felt the Knicks could get physical with Wemby and get him off his spots. SGA and the flopping would have exposed the officiating even worse but be a tougher match-up for NY
