Little bit disappointed that Pog is not having a go at the Triple Crown (Grand Slam?) but I guess he hasn’t recovered in time so he chose the Worlds.
Also without Jonas and Remco. Sepp and Primoz will be looking to win again and Adam Yates is in the mix. Sepp will have Kruijswijk (thought he retired) riding for him at the age of 37.
Looks like Roglic will wipe out the deficit in the next couple of days. O’Connor still has a 3 minute gap on 3rd place. As he’s never podiumed before in a Grand Tour, he might try to guarantee a podium this time by sticking with Mas, Carapaz and Landa (or as close as possible) rather than blow himself up chasing after Roglic. This is what he did today and didn’t lose that much time to them (a minute vs 2 minutes with Roglic).
