Some one “won the booster” then folks below them burned boosters to survive that pushed them over the dude who just won the booster.
Then that player’s just won booster was passively activated to save them.
If my memory is correct.
So for example say IPD is tops with 600 points after the scores and active boosters are applied.
By a miracale the 3 other players score exactly 575 points.
It would look like this -
IPD 600 (1 passive booster before this week win, 2 with)
AJR 575 (3 passive boosters left)
A123 575 (1 passive booster left)
TH 575 (1 passive booster left)
All 3 would burn a booster to go to 625 making you now low man
You would then burn a passive booster to go to 650 making all 3 tied at 625.
Because AJR still has 2 boosters he’d burn one to go to 675 and be safe but would not take your booster away as that is figured after active boosters but before passive boosters.
A123 & TH would be out of boosters and since tied for low both would be out.
Final week would be IPD v AJR each with one booster.
Obviously my scenario is a fantasy that would never happen but wouldn’t it be fun if it did?
Yes, the weekly booster is determined by the raw scores of first, before the elimination(s) are determined.
Aaah, that’s a good question (and one we should clarify before, say Week 18). I would say the booster that was won would be immediately available to use to survive (or attempt to survive), and thus not awarded to anyone else.
Note in Week 18 this will not an issue, as there is no booster awarded in Week 18, just a “Survivor Champion” title.

I don’t have a problem with any of my picks - they all made sense, given who I had left and all the future potential matchups I thought this was the best set for this week and I pretty much knew what the final 2 weeks might be - but damn, Jonathan Taylor and his 383 points [probably done for the day at this point] would have been nice to have after Hurts went out with just 46.

That’s going to put me at 524 with a booster still in hand. Not safe, given where everyone else sits and who everyone else has out, but 574 for elimination would be [since we moved to GoA] a record for an elimination score by over 60 points.
So against Hoffman i need 187 from Allen to avoid using a booster, 137 to stay alive. I could still win the booster with less than 187. Lots up in the air.
